Self-Love Day: Birthday Style!

My dear friend Paige Sauer and I are hosting a worldwide party this Saturday, March 2nd!

I do acts of self-love for myself almost daily. If I do not take care of myself, I have nothing left to give to anyone else. Since my primary life goal is to help people feel better, I have to be able to be on my game all the time. When I don’t pray, meditate, journal, do yoga, and breathe… then I am an ugly, selfish hot mess of a human. . . no . . . really.

Every once and a while I dedicate not just 10 minutes, an hour, or an after noon to my self-love, but an ENTIRE day! The last time I did this was on my birthday. The goal was loving myself in 10 ways that day.

It looked something like this:

{in bed til noon + pink berry for breakfast + new top + soy latte + long walk +
blow out + sharing happy news + SATC thrift store find + fav wine + dinner with friends}

I definitely felt love on my birthday and was more energized to do the things I needed to do for the rest of the week!
