So, last month, I was asked to speak on a panel on Sir Richard Branson’s private island, Necker Island.
The topic of the event I was attending was How to Turn Success into Significance.
It was designed as sort of a think tank for people who were already successful and desired to do more good with the money they had made.
This concept was so confusing to me from the very day I took the call about the event.
Wait? Not everyone came out of the womb believing that they could make money while doing good? They didn’t have income and impact, meaning and money, purpose and profit, success and significance linked up from day one?
Now, of course, I have a background in ministry and psychotherapy and run an online education company in the personal development space so… I guess it makes sense that my sense might be different.
But here is a fun Q…
How TF do I explain to a room full of multi-multi-millionaires and billionaires whose careers are not in personal development, online education, or coaching how I’ve done… what I’ve done?
Well, you tell your story.
I was the youngest person in the room and one of the few self-made people there.
