– Day 23 –
I am slowing down a little on posting my 30 Days up as I celebrate my birthday and finish grad school. In just 3 and a half weeks I will have a Masters of Science in Counseling Degree. I’m sure you understand the need to dedicate myself to this major life goal :)
However, I will definitely post when I can…
– Sunday –
I wore this outfit for a Day trip to Austin during a weekend getaway spent poolside. [I even have the pool-hair to prove it.]
Sundays are consistently the most casual day in my life. On this particular Sunday I decided I wanted to re-wear the dress from Day 9 in a way that it could be chill enough for brunch and errands, yet conservative enough for a relaxed day at work – making it more wearable.
One thing I’ve noticed as I’ve plowed through the 30 days of no shopping and living off 30 items is how many items of clothing I have, that I never wear… and some that I didn’t even know I had. This jean jacket, for example, was my favorite-thing-ever in 9th grade. It somehow made it through my bi-yearly closet clean out and my many moves around the country and was discovered in my coat closet last week. I plan to use it as a way to cover up on relaxed days or tone down an outfit that feels too dressy. By adding the jacket and scarf to this dress, I felt like I was wearing something new and different.
Love love love love to you,
