There is a school of thought that goes something along the lines of:
You have to reach out to everyone.
Cold email. Cold message. Get all up in everyone’s DMs.
Pretend to be their friend and then pitch them.
Lord help us all, there is a better way.
While I appreciate the hustle, the thing is this:
My clients come to me. Always have.
I put out good content. I provide things to watch, read, listen to, learn from and pay attention to.
And people then say to me, “How can I pay you?”
I call them in with a combination of my information and my intention.
Feel me?
The other thing I want to make sure you understand is this:
You are not required to sacrifice any part of your personality, personal life, interests or desire to have an online presence + well known brand.
All of you all of you all of you get to be included.
(Well, at least all the parts of you that you want to be included. Your private life is what you say it is.)
Through understanding that all-of-me is the whole vibe… my brand is a combination of all my interests. I don’t have to hold anything back. And I also don’t have to share anything I don’t want to.
