Have you ever noticed that you can get in your own way?
.
Maybe you feel resistant, tired, not in the mood to do the things, etc.
.
That was me last week. I had a lot of moving pieces in my world and woke up in a little bit of a mood on Tuesday.
.
The problem was I had to drive from Malibu to West Hollywood for an interview, do the interview, host a mastermind call, see a boy, host a livestream + provide homework for day 6 of the extravaganza I was hosting, and finish sales emails.
.
The idea of the busy-ness of the day was blocking my ability to see all the blessing that the day held for me.
.
On my morning beach walk, I surrendered.
.
(To me, surrender means relaxing into the truth of how good things get to be for you.)
.
“I don’t know if I even have time to finish this walk, but God, I am willing to let this be easy. I am willing to see things differently. I am willing to know that all that needs to be done will somehow do itself.”
.
I had an intuitive hit: Hire a driver.
.
I texted a contact at a company I use from time to time. Though they are usually booked days in advance, my preferred driver (shoutout to Miguel) could be at my house in 45 minutes.
.
I finished my beach walk. I got in the shower. I left with my hair wet. I ate breakfast and wrote emails on the car ride on the way there. I arrived at the studio. I LOVED the hosts and producer and production assistant and entire experience and interview (which I am sharing with you below!) so much.
.
I hosted my mastermind call in the car on the way home. I saw the boy shortly after getting home. I hosted the livestream event, provided the homework as promised, hit up a pilates class, had a second beach walk and went to bed so happy about my day.
.
.
This was my favorite interview OF MY LIFE.
.
Which is funny because everything in me did not want to get my grumpy butt in the car and go to the studio that day.
.
And, as I’m sure you are gathering, this is not about a car service.
.
This is about ALWAYS being open to the solution of the highest good for you.
.
There is always a solution available. And it can come to you when you are willing, open, and available to receive guidance
.
